Arber Beka of Kosovo Police said that Kosovo Police was not informed and that this was also explained by the General Director in the previous conference held last week.
We have mentioned several times that we have good cooperation with the police of regional countries and that this is of outmost importance in fighting organized crime and all other forms of criminality. Regardless on this, Beka said that the police is willing to cooperate with the its colleagues in all regional countries as well as with those of Serbia but only through liaison offices on certain and concrete cases.
Police officials also notified that last night a group of 80 Serbs returned from Serbia and headed for Velika Hoca. According to the police, this was done under the orders of state authorities while it was denied that any other transportation vehicles carrying Serbs entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
During the regular conference Kosovo Police also explained the measures taken to avoid accidents on traffic especially in order to avoid situations that put pedestrians in danger.
As part of the actions to mark the month of September, named the Month of Road Security, Kosovo police has also appointed patrols nearby schools to assist and prevent possible accidents.
