Tottenham ‘line up bid for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi’
Tottenham are preparing a bid for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi according to reports in Turkey.
Spurs are short of options up front with Harry Kane sidelined until at least April and Son Heung-min filling in as a makeshift deputy.
Jose Mourinho’s side had an inital offer for the 25-year-old rebuffed at the start of the window, but are now said to be preparing a second bid, according to Turkish newspaper Aksam.
Fenerbahce are looking for a transfer fee in excess of £20m, the report claims.
Muriqi is known to England fans after featuring twice for his country Kosovo against them in recent months during qualification for Euro 2020.
He has scored 11 times in 17 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season having only joined from Caykur Rizespor in July last year.
