Italian football club Lazio confirmed Tuesday signing of Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi from Turkish club Fenerbahce.

“Lazio announces the definitive purchase of the player Vedat Muriqi from Fenerbahce,” the Italian club said in a statement. The Roman club reportedly has spent 20 million euros for the services of the 26-year-old forward on a five-year deal.

The Prizren-born striker has joined Lazio after an impressive season with Fenerbahce in Turkey. He joined Fenerbahce after leaving Rizespor last summer and in one season he has scored 17 goals in 36 official games with the Turkish club.
