American work on Ujman feasibility to start in coming months

Kosovo Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, said the works with American experts on the feasibility of Lake Ujman, as part o the September 4 Agreement in Washington, would intensify in the coming months.

This was said also confirmed in a letter that the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy at the US Department of State, Matthew Zais, handed over following the meeting with Kuçi.

Offering full cooperation in the issues arising from the September 4 Agreement in Washington, minister Kuçi also asked for support in the implementation of the New Energy Strategy Framework in Kosovo.

Minister Kuçi also attended the bilateral meeting with the US Government delegation, led by the Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Richard Grenell, Chief Executive Officer of the DFC Adam Boehler, USAID representatives, the Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), as well as other senior government officials from the US Department of Energy and Commerce.
