Decision on three doses of vaccine to enter Kosovo does not make sense

Former Prime Minister of Kosovo Avdullah Hoti has said that the decision with three doses of vaccine to enter Kosovo does not make sense.

“These days I have received messages and calls from Kukes, Presevo Valley, Skopje, and Tetovo. The request for three doses of vaccine to enter Kosovo is meaningless.

The daily movements from Presevo to Gjilan, or from Kukes to Prizren, are like the movements from Prizren to Gjakova or from Gjilan to Ferizaj. Therefore, every decision that is taken must be seen as it affects the lives of citizens across the border because it is our state's obligation.

Lack of coordination of the government of Kosovo with the governments in Tirana and Skopje as well as with the Mayor of Presevo in making such decisions is concerning,” Hoti wrote on his Facebook account.
