Excavations in Serbia end, no human remains uncovered

Excavations in the village of Staval, Serbia that commenced on 10 May in search of a possible mass grave have concluded without any human remains uncovered.

Veljko Odalovic from the Serbian Government’s Commission on Missing Persons confirmed the news. He added that future excavations will continue based on requests.

“There is no difference between the victims. Albanian, as well as Serb families, have the same right to know what happened to their loved ones,” he said, adding: “This is why we request the work on this process intensifies in Kosovo too.”
