MoH: No suspected case of `Monkey Pox` in Kosovo
The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, told a press conference today in Prishtina that so far there is no suspected case of Monkey Pox in Kosovo.
Dafina Gexha - Bunjaku, Deputy Minister of Health, said so far there is no case of suspected monkeypox in Kosovo while adding that the Ministry of Health was preparing recommendations for health professionals.
Gexha - Bunjaku noted that Kosovo too was at risk from the virus while adding that anyone who notices redness and changes in the skin and fevers should go to the family doctor.
She said that the Ministry of Health, with its structures, is continuously monitoring the situation, assessing and analyzing all available information, assessing the risk to the population in the country, and preparing recommendations for health professionals.
