Assembly fails to review draft laws due to lack of quorum

The lack of quorum in the Assembly of Kosovo prevented the review of four draft laws that were on the agenda of today`s plenary session.

The agenda included the second review of the criminal procedure draft code, the second review of the draft law on execution of penal sanctions, the second review of the draft law on Kosovo correctional service, and the second review of the bill on probation service of Kosovo.

MPs from the three opposition parties - the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) - did not take part in the voting of the bills.
