2nd edition of Rame Lahaj International Opera Festival begins tomorrow

The Rame Lahaj Foundation in close cooperation with the Municipality of Prishtina, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, and several institutions have come together to bring to Kosovo conductors, opera singers, and instrumentalists with international experience.

As a connecting bridge between young artists, the workshop masterclasses will be led by music professionals.

A concert dedicated to the Albanian song Nightingale Nexhmije Pagarusha is expected to be held on July 26, where solo singers Arta Jashari - soprano Zana Abazi - soprano, Mirlinda Koci - soprano, Klodian Kaçani - tenor, Armand Likaj - baritone, Granit Musliu - tenor and Menan Bërveniku, the pianist will perform.

Meanwhile, the final night of the festival will be held in "Skënderbeu" square on July 31, with special guest soprano Angela Gheorghiu under the leadership of conductor Valerio Galli.

In addition to the international solo singers, the Kosovo Philharmonic, the children's choir "Okarina" and the talented singer Erza Muqolli are also part of this evening.

The festival is held from July 21-31 and aims to promote and cultivate genuine music in the country.
