
EP to hold today another voting on visa liberalization for Kosovo
The Committee of the European Parliament for Civil Liberties, Justice, and Internal Affairs will vote today once again for the liberalization of visas for Kosovo. This has been confirmed to Radio Kosova by the spokesperson of the European Parliament, Ojamo Janne. The final vote on visas is expected to take place at the plenary session of the European Parliament held on April 18.
On today's agenda of the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, the vote on the liberalization of visas for Kosovo will take place around noon, where the Dutch MEP, Thijs Reuten, rapporteur of European Parliament for the liberalization of visas for Kosovo is expected to present his report.
This has been confirmed to Radio Kosova, by the spokesperson of the European Parliament, Ojamo Janne.
Meanwhile, the last vote on visas will take place in the plenary session that will be held on April 18 by the European Parliament.
The Council of Ministers of the EU, on March 9, had approved in the first reading the movement without visas for the citizens of Kosovo. The next procedure was taken to the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Internal Affairs (LIBE) for another vote.
