The Board of the Office of the Energy Regulator, in the meeting held on Thursday, has decided to raise the price of electricity.

This increase will be 14 percent, while the new energy tariffs will be applied as of April 1^st.

In recent months, the government of Kosovo has allocated a million euros for subsidizing electricity, while the increase in the price of electricity has been opposed by citizens and civil society.
