In a recent exchange, Hykmete Bajrami, a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo, criticized a Facebook post made by the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, in which he presented data on the circulation of businesses.

Bajrami reminded the Minister that he failed to address the decline in exports, which is a crucial issue for the private sector.

Bajrami went on to ask the Minister what he had done to support the private sector, aside from collecting taxes. She also brought up the inflation that occurred during the Kurti Government's mandate, the lack of capital investments, and the doubling of property taxes and energy prices for businesses.

According to Bajrami, the Minister's sanctions made it difficult for the country to maintain contracts with foreign partners, which resulted in a 6% drop in exports from 2022 to 2023. Finally, she criticized the Minister for his previous directorship at TAK without a mandate and accused him of being appointed by PDK during Bedri Hamza's tenure.
