The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held an award ceremony today for "Muslim Mulliqi" Visual Arts.

The prize for lifetime achievement was given to the artist Esat Valla, while the award for creativity in the last three years went to the late artist Alije Vokshi.

The award committee members were Valbona Zherka, a painter and costume designer; Lirije Buliqi, a sculptor; and Alisa Gojani, the deputy director of the National Gallery of Kosovo.

Zherka expressed sadness that Professor Alije was not present, but mentioned that creators usually leave a lasting legacy. She believes that Alije's daughters are happy about the news but are saddened by her absence. Meanwhile, she wished Professor Esat success for the future.

The Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS), Hajrulla Çeku, stated that it was a special day for the creators in this field and for the MKRS due to the awards distribution.
