Turkey-Kosovo Economic Forum to be held today

The first Economic Business Forum between Kosovo and Turkey will be held today in Istanbul, Turkey. Before the start of the forum, Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with the Minister of Trade of Turkey, Omer Bolat.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and many businessmen from Kosovo will also participate in this forum.
During his stay in Turkey, Prime Minister Kurti met with Albanian businessmen from various sectors operating there and encouraged them to invest in Kosovo.
Kurti emphasized that the relationship with Turkey is strong, broad, deep, historical, and cultural.
"We wish to advance the excellent relations we have with the Republic of Turkey even further in cooperation, especially in two areas: in economy and trade on the one hand and in defense and security on the other," said Kurti.
Informing them about Kosovo's progress, the prime minister said that the four areas where we have made the biggest investments are: defense and security, agriculture, education, and health. In terms of security, he mentioned the soldiers and officers of the Kosovo Army, a significant part of whom are in the Republic of Turkey being trained to be as well prepared as possible for the defense and security of the Republic of Kosovo.
