"DokuFest" recently unveiled a new Digital Library for Teachers, created in collaboration with partners and institutions.

The platform features 200 films and around 130 worksheets as educational materials. This project, initiated in 2018, has received support from various partners, including MAShTI, OSCE, and and the Embassy of Sweden in Kosovo.

Linda Gashi, executive director of "DokuFest," stated that all materials in the library are aligned with the curriculum framework of the Republic of Kosovo. By registering on the platform, teachers gain free and unlimited access to these resources. The initiative has also been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation for teacher training and the use of audiovisual tools in education.

Currently, over 350 teachers are registered on the platform, which integrates films, documentaries, didactic materials, and also provides seminars and training for teachers to help students develop critical thinking and knowledge.

Bora Shpuza, head of the cabinet of the minister Arbërie Nagavci, mentioned the successful cooperation between the Ministry of Education and "DokuFest," and the redesign of the digital library to ensure high-quality learning enriched with literature.

He also emphasized the importance of media education as an integral part of the school curriculum to guide and protect children from potential manipulations. Additionally, the OSCE ambassador in Kosovo, Michael Davenport, likened this platform to a "Netflix" for teachers.

Eroll Bilibani from "DokuFest" clarified that the platform is currently accessible for free only to teachers from public schools in Kosovo.
