The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo has announced the passing of academician Rexhep Ferri, a prominent painter in Albanian art, at the age of 86.

To honor academician Rexhep Ferri's life and work, a commemorative meeting will be held at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo on June 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by tributes until noon.

The burial of the deceased will take place on June 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Prishtina cemetery.

The Academy of Science and Arts of Kosovo has conveyed its condolences to the family, friends, and all art enthusiasts.
