The well-known poet Agim Doçi has closed his eyes forever. Doçi was in intensive care at the Neurology Service at QSUT since Saturday morning, after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

Doçi passed away at the age of 76. He was one of the most famous poets, especially as a creator of poems of Albanian songs.

Doçi has twice been a representative with his lyrics in Eurovision. Likewise, the poet Doçi was the author of many Albanian song lyrics and winner of over 50 awards.

The poet and lyricist Doçi has been present at many song festivals in RTSH, as well as other festivals.

In collaboration with well-known names in Albanian music, Agim Doçi has received many awards. Many of his creations have remained hits and are in the archive of RTSH and Albanian music.
