The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, stated that Kosovo has fulfilled all the necessary conditions for the lifting of measures.

He mentioned that the report on the measures was prepared by the high representative of the EU and they are currently awaiting a decision. Minister Murati also addressed the situation in the north, stating that the danger now only comes from outside the country, particularly from Serbia.

He emphasized that the statements of the president and the prime minister are aligned and that the situation has never been calmer in the north.

These statements were made during the committee for budget, work, and transfers, where the deputy of AAK, Pal Lekaj, posed questions to the minister regarding the sanctions against Kosovo and how recent statements about the north might impact foreign investors.

Additionally, the Commission reviewed two international agreements: the ratification of the amendment to the agreement for the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank group of organizations, and the ratification of the loan agreement between Kosovo and the European Investment Bank for the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Project at KEK - global gateway.

The ratification of these agreements is said to enable the harmonization of domestic legislation with that of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, ultimately benefiting Kosovo financially for the realization of projects.
