The statue of Albania’s national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg will be erected in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

Ambassador of Albania to Hungary Arian Spasse provided details of the statue which as seen in the photo still needs the finishing touches.

Spasse paid a visit to the studio of the well-known sculptor Mihály Gábor who is realizing the project.The sculpture will be located just in front of a contemporary great man of Scanderbeg time, the Hungarian hero János Hunyadi.“In Budapest will be erected the statue of Scanderbeg. Ambassador Spasse paid a visit today to the studio of sculptor Mihály Gábor to have a look on the model and real size of the statue. After some changes to the appearance of the portrait and the final permit by the Municipal Council, the statue will be erected at the central park of the city, in front of the statue of János Hunyadi”, is written on the official page of the Albanian Embassy in Budapest.
